Classroom Expectations
The 5 Classroom Tools of BODY, VOICE, MIND, CONCENTRATION, & COOPERATION are the framework for my classroom expectations.
1. COOPERATION: Respect the rights and property of others.
2. MIND: Be in class on time and prepared.
3. CONCENTRATION: Follow directions the first time they are given.
4. VOICE: Adjust your voice level to suit the activity.
5. BODY: Remain seated unless granted permission.
By following the expectations, students are making strong choices and choosing to help their class by being a team player. Positive behavior equals positive rewards: praise, stickers, special class activities, positive notes home, and THE JOY OF LEARNING!
Consequences…
If a student chooses to make a weak choice that hurts your class…
1st offense = redirection & warning
2nd offense = demerit
repeat offenses = demerit & parent contact
(Exceptions apply.)
